The South Coastal Toll Road Makassar-Bantaeng

The South Coastal Toll Road will be built from Makassar City, Gowa Regency, Takalar Regency, Jeneponto Regency, and Bantaeng Regency to Bantaeng Regency, with three road plans to choose from (traces). Except for Trace 3, which is on the left side of the national road when viewed from the Makassar, the location of the plan alternatives is nearly identical for other segments. Based on (1) past existence, (2) technical and construction, (3) road and traffic engineering, (4) environment and safety, (5) socio-economic condition, and (6) economics/financial assesment, this project was deemed possible to accomplish. The South Coastal Toll Road's construction is expected to have impact on community employment and create new job opportunities, particularly in the surrounding area.
