North Luwu Regency is one of the regencies in South Sulawesi which is located in the center (heart) of the island of Sulawesi. Its strategic position and fertile land conditions in North Luwu Regency can be a supporter of the food sector for 4 (four) surrounding provinces, namely South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and in the future, it has the potential to support the food needs of the new capital city of Indonesia in East Kalimantan.North Luwu has a number of potential natural resources with an interest in optimizing the utilization of these potentials for the interests and needs of the community. The construction of a palm oil mill is supported by several things, namely Potential, Supporting Infrastructure and Community Acceptance. The potential for oil palm plantations in North Luwu is 21,470 hectares with the production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) in 2020 of 386.076 tons. In addition, there are 4 (four) units of palm oil mills in North Luwu with a production of 45,347.266 tons of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). The expected impact from the realization of the construction of a palm oil factory is a multiplier effect, including creating job, increasing the price of palm oil for farmers, developing MSMEs and the village economy in the area around the factory, all of which lead to an increase in
